Very infrequently does some form of media really blow me away to the point where I want to tell the world about it. It really only used to happen when I was a kid listening to new music. I’d hear a new album, and think.. wow, this is the most amazing, mind numbing art the world has ever seen.. – oh to be that young again… but I digress.
It, or something like that old feeling just happened again.. A podcast / show called Reply All. It sounds exactly like my favorite show on NPR: Planet Money.. which makes sense since the creators of Planet Money are the creators of Reply All. If you know Planet Money, then think of Reply All as Planet Money for the internet. If you don’t know Planet Money, then think of Reply All as the a news magazine about the history of internet, but in story form.
The internet has changed who we are, how we work, what is expected of us, how we present ourselves, and pretty much everything else about the world. Reply all is chronicling how we got to this point.
