Quantitative data collection, that’s easy.  Quantitative data is a simple analysis of numbers, counting, arranging, recounting, and coming to a conclusion.  You use the numbers to tell a story that’s very black and white.  Qualitative data is much much more more difficult, well difficult to me.  I think in terms of numbers, of percentages.  Things are binary or trending, they are on and off, is and isn’t. Qualitative is shades of colors, gradients, feelings. I’m not very touchy feely so I have to really work at qualitative data.

I invite you to take the survey…

I invite you to take the survey.. It’s only 10 questions.   I hope to use the survey to express your experiences so that they can be analyzed and shared both in the long form writing project and in this blog.  The more you share the greater your influence may be.. and I want as many real world stories to influence me as possible to balance all the data i’m collecting.
