In a previous post about Scope I discussed the idea of identifying scope.  I expect there will be more posts on this subject and it may even consume a good portion of the book project.

That got me thinking about the Scope of this site.  What will I write about?  I understand that this is a journey and it’ll change through time.  How often will I post?  Is this all I will be doing?

Well this blog is designed to be a tool to help with the projects for our community (Meta posts about the blog itself, podcasts, and who knows what else, live events maybe?).  So part of the posts will be about the process of creating these events.  There may be a post about something I learned in wordpress, or a post about how the book is coming along.   There may be other posts.. informational posts.  Sort of a cliff notes versions of the projects i’m working on.

I also understand that I’m an action oriented individual who has a thousand ideas and to make any of them happen I need to slow down.. Put some things aside for now (podcasts) and have a deliberate focus about what i’m going to do and define what i’m not going to do.

I had a very bad weight problem.  To help combat the weight problem I started working out every other day.  That is the schedule i’m going to look forward to implementing for this blog.  If I target putting together any sort of post on my workout days.. then there will be a steady stream of content.. and that’s the most important thing when building a community around media.

If you have tips on how to drive regularity, please share.. – Assuming I eventually figure out how to set up comments.
